Windows 10: Microsoft surface Arc Mouse disconnect issues

I have a Windows 10 64 bit OS. Recently purchased Microsoft surface Arc Mouse that’s Bluetooth connected. Initially worked like a champ. My older Logitech usb wireless mouse was giving me fits. The Arc mouse paired and worked great than suddenly it would freeze. I would access the Bluetooth settings area turn it on and off eventually occasionally it would start working. More often then not though the Bluetooth on/off switch would disappear off the settings page after selecting it a few times and the only way to get the mouse working again was to reboot my 5 year old computer boy that sucks. I followed the possible problems off the microsoft site, ie my computer software is up to date etc. I did see something about bluetooth power management settings. I went into the device manager and bluetooth and found no power settings to adjust. I really like the mouse i just want it to be reliable, is this fixable? Thanks

Arc Bluetooth mouse not working properly with Surface 3

Experienced same issue, disconnecting Arc Mouse then reconnect worked fine, but not mouse interaction.

Below steps worked for me:

• Remove all Bluetooth connected devices, including Surface Type Cover and Surface Pen.
• Disconnected the Surface Type Cover then reconnect. It will reinstall tand connect the device.
• Then Add Bluetooth devices including Surface Pen and last but not least Arc Bluetooth Mouse.

Everything works fine again.

• Click OK.

Surface Arc Mouse (2017) Stopped Working

My current build is Windows 10 Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.483).
I tried all the troubleshooting you suggested below and although it indicates that my Surface Arc Mouse is “Connected” it still does not work.
