Windows 10 Audio service disrupts all media

    Hello,

Recently I've been experiencing a peculiar problem where running the windows audio service will disrupt all media. This means that it's impossible to watch any videos with audio because media simply will not work when the service is enabled. As soon as I shutdown the proces, which has to be done through command prompt because the service manager just gets stuck eternally, the media starts playing immediately. It does not seem to be related to my audio device as disconnecting the headset which I always use does nothing. When the audio service is enabled again the video will immediately stop playing again.

The problem eventually resolves itself after a restart, though restarting is not always a guaranteed fix because there have been plenty of instances where the problem continues after a restart.

System file checker could not find any problems

    I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad 520-15IKB with Windows 10 Home 1909.

Is there a way to stop this from happening? Beside installing Windows again of course

    :)

  3. Microsoft Selects Dolby Audio for Windows 10

it would've been great if microsoft added HEVC decoders, LAV filters along with other codecs with Windows 10, and developing WMP to be better than VLC, KMPlayer and such sorts of media players.

Nevertheless, this is good step for microsoft, by far.
