Windows 10: Bad system config info loop

My dell inspiron keeps loop loading over and over. the error code it gives me is "bad system config info". it does not run the auto recovery. i do not seem to be able to get to the recovery/boot menu or a cmd. i would like to be able to save the files on the laptop, I am unable to get to the troubleshooting menu by holding power a couple of times when you see the manufacturer logo because after the first time I hold the power for 4 seconds to shut down each subsequent time I try im unable to hold it for 4 seconds as it shuts down instantly. I have previously had issues that forced me to do a reinstall keeping my files via the troubleshooting/safe mode menu , I would like to try this again so are there any alternate ways to get the troubleshooting menu up without the using the power button technique

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Sadly, the fixes did not work, and I'm still getting "bad system config info."

MS support is still not honoring phone calls reserved in advance/promises to call back in a few minutes-- must say I'm disappointed.

Any further ideas?

Windows Licence after "Bad system config info"

Hi,

my PC is broken with endless boot loop and "bad system config" info.

The Windows on the PC was preinstalled.

What happens with the licence if I reinstall from another PC/INternet with media creation tool?

Bad system config info and failure to launch windows 10

Windows 10 on a Dell XPS about 1.5 yrs old

turned machine on and got the Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart; bad system config info.

Went through the multiple suggestions to fix, repair or restore but none of them were successful. Seemed to get a consistent response that a problem was encountered and therefore no the problem couldn’t be resolved.

Under troubleshoot attempted the prompt command option. The message under the Microsoft Windows [version 10.0.17134.1] said not enough resources available to process this command.

I found a video on youtube to address the bad system config info issue and followed the steps as presented.

After going through that process my system still won’t boot up.

there apprared to be enough free space on C.
