Windows 10: Cannot Install Feature update

Hi, I have been having the same issue with attempting to update Windows 10 1809 to either 1903 or 1909... However my problem occurs when the computer completely freezes during reboot @ 87%.


The only error message I see is after I have had top turn off my laptop - HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-bl1XX, Product# 1VW22AV - and restart it. Error message# 0xC1900101 comes up only when I look at the windows update history screen - "last failed install attempt". This last occurred early this morning and this is the 4th time I have attempted this type of update over the past 30 days...


I have read all the info on this error message and have tried many of the suggested remarks to attempt to resolve it including running the update outside of Windows Update using Windows10Upgrade9252.exe that was supposed to upgrade me from 1809 to 1909. Sadly this failed at the same 87% level after my computer rebooted x2.


BTW I have let my Laptop remain at the 87% level each time for anywhere from 1 hr to overnight yet the upgrade does not complete... In addition the setuperr.log has no data in it and is completely empty!!!

In addition in order to prevent Windows 10 Pro from constantly attempting to re-update I have advanced the # of days for Windows to rerun this update to over 275 days...


Therefore being that this is upgrade to either 1903 or 1909 will not complete I am asking the "Experts" what to do next.

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?

 

Intel E5200 Gets Updated, R0 Stepping Coming Up

Intel's Pentium Dual-Core E5200 processor is getting on course for a specifications update. The chip will feature in a new, improved Wolfdale-2M core, spec'd out as the R0 stepping, from its current M0 stepping. The new stepping is intended to add new instructions, power-management features, and bring about changes in the chip-package. A short list of known changes is as follows:

• CPUID changed from 10677 to 1067A
• Power State Indicator (PSI) support with Intel 4 series chipsets
• New instructions - XSAVE and XRSTOR
• New S-spec and MM numbers
• New halide-free chip package

Due to the changed CPUID, users may require BIOS updates to detect the CPU. According to the company, E5200 R0 should be out by April 13.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
