  1. Enough of Big Brother - where is real adminitsrator's status?

There is a small graphic viewer/editor program that I have used for years. Until the Big Brother took over, that is.

Suddenly editing is no longer possible because the program folder is write protected - of course, reinstall doe not help. Changing the folder properties is forbidden because Big Brother just denies access and my administrator's status is a joke.

The system must be user friendly and not a KGB style denier/prohibitor. at least on my own computer and with small programs that do not affect the system in any way and are not even installed in many machines.

The question is, hw to make Big Brother obey me and not the other way?

    :)

  2. Printer Status is OFLINE Brother MFC 7860DW

My printer status keeps "defaulting" to OFFLINE. I have searched several threads and there are none that I could see that deal with Windows 10 Pro. In many of the threads there seems to some real dissatisfaction that the solutions offered are too complicated
for the average user to implement, I count myself in their company.

So, I appeal to the community for a solution to this problem. I use Windows 10 pro, the printer is a Brother MFC 7860DW.

    Much appreciated
