Windows 10: WiFi issues with my new laptop Lenovo Ideapad S540

I recently got a new laptop Lenovo Ideapad S540, AMD-based, and it's great, fast, speedy, simply amazing, however, I've been some really annoying and inexplicable issues with my WiFi.


I consider myself to be an advanced Windows user, but even I am struggling to understand what is going on.


Symptoms vary - sometimes, WiFi keeps dropping, and I have to keep reconnecting, sometimes, I just can't connect and need to restart my laptop, sometimes the WiFi speeds are way too slow, pages take forever to load, sometimes everything is fine, but modern apps in Windows 10 ones from MS Store don't work at all.


Currently, I am experiencing the last of the aforementioned issues. I can't connect to Xbox Live, can't use modern Windows OneDrive app, Cortana activates just fine, but doesn't process anything I say, Microsoft Store too is complaining about not being able to connect. But I know I am connected to the Internet, I see it in the taskbar, OneDrive syncs just fine, and I can browse the Internet in Edge Chromium-based too.


I've tried pretty much everything I could think of - troubleshooting the Internet connection which offered me to restart the network, but that didn't solve the issue at all, looking for drivers using Windows Update and 3rd-party applications it didn't work either, drivers are up to date, I've tried reinstalling the system, but problems showed up later on anyway, I've even tried wsreset command, and for a moment that seemed to do the trick, but ... no ...


What is happening? Is this a hardware or a software problem? What are the possible solutions? I really am coming off desperate ... I am enclosing screenshots from apps that are having issues:

Lenovo Reveals New IdeaPad Laptops and IdeaCentre Desktops

Lenovo today announced an exciting lineup of new consumer laptops and desktops at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show, providing a variety of PCs to suit every computing need, style desire and palette preference, with the debut of new colors including Peony Pink, Electric Blue and Ruby Red.
