Windows 10: USING MS ONE-DRIVE BETWEEN 2 PC's

About a year ago you addressed the process of using One-Drive to sync files between 2 computers. I wonder if you could elaborate on your answer.


I have two Win 10 PC's both using Office 365. I have 2-3 Excel files that I would like to have synced between the two desktops. I would like to be able to input the data in either PC, and have it be mirrored in the other. I don't know if if this works similarly to Dropbox, where I would go to the Dropbox site to make entries in a file, and after Saving, the file on my PC was also updated. Problems with it arose when I went to the local file on my PC to enter data. Eventually it became a big mess. Can you list the steps that need to be taken to facilitate what I want to accomplish? BTW---This process is strictly for my own use. There will be no other users involved. Same MS account on both PC's.

What !?? Games For Windows didn't prove to you that MS was serious about PC gaming? /sarc

PC Build Steps

1.1 - Ideally put optical in SATA 0, and SSD in SATA 1, this will cause the optical drive to be the default 1st boot option. You can change it manually if not, but I like it this way
2.infinity - yes, that's fine. if it's above 70 +/- 5 degrees, then it may just need a repaste/remount

 

Hard drive/ OS issue
