Windows 10: Sync Calendar app with yahoo calendar

Hi,

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 for the second time, had to upgrade computer when display was no longer supported. First time around I got this to work, but now I have the mail app working fine, but the calendar app does not sync. I have tried deleting my yahoo account and adding it back always with the same results, mail works great, calendar no joy. Not sure what more I can do but would appreciate any help you can give me.

Windows 10 Calendar app not syncing with Yahoo Calendar

Hi Cris,

I couldn't tell from your post whether you were referring to a Yahoo account or an Outlook.com account disappearing from the Calendar app. If you've added a Yahoo account to the Mail app, it won't show up in the Calendar app since Windows 10 doesn't support
Yahoo calendar sync. If you've lost a calendar for an Outlook.com or other supported account:

1. Go to the Mail app and click on the gear icon.

2. Choose Manage Accounts.

3. Select the account that doesn't have the calendar appearing.

4. Go to Change mailbox settings.

5. Scroll down to Sync options.

6. Turn the Calendar switch to On.

calendar sync?

IT might be helpful if you describe the steps you're taking to try and sync the calendars. I'm not sure where eMail might come into the picture.

Also describe your goal as clearly as possible. you're trying to sync a calendar on the iPhone with the Calendar App on Win10, not a calendar in an eMail client?

ical seems to be the canonical calendar format for apple - not sure - just a guess.

 

Yahoo calendar not syncing in calendar app

Yahoo settings and Windows 10 Calendar finally has my Yahoo calendar dates.

Hi,

I have set up my yahoo mail account in the Windows 10 app but the calendar does not sync. I have the outlook app on and android phone and my yahoo calendar syncs fine. Any ideas what could be going wrong and how I can fix it? Have tried deleting account
and starting again but still nothing in the calendar.
