Usb mouse not working after latest update. Has anyone found an answer yet?

USB mouse stopped working

Why has my usb mouse stopped working now that I have downloaded the latest update for windows 10? It is driving me insane. It works in chrome and when I move the list of emails received, but will not work inside the emails. I have tried all the suggestions
going (including uninstall, etc) but still it will not work.

I suggest you to connect the USB Keyboard and Mouse to a different USB port and check if it works.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

2. What is the make and model of your computer?

If you are using desktop is your keyboard working fine? As an initial troubleshooting step I suggest you to unplug the mouse, restart your computer and plug in your USB mouse to a different port and check. Also connect other devices to the same USB port
and check if that helps.

This issue might occur if there are no updated drivers for hardware devices like keyboard mouse etc.

If issue persists follow Methods below.

Method 1: Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your mouse. Refer these steps:

1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
