Windows 10: Pinterest sign in issue

I am stuck badly and I need Pinterest for work and my Surface is where I use it the most. I really hope someone can help me asap!


Background/issue


5 days ago Jan 22nd, 2020, my Pinterest stopped allowing me to login. It would give me the below error message. Okay so great, it's a pinterest issue, is what I thought wait for it to resolve itself BUT it turned out to NOT be a wide spread Pinterest issue because I can log in on my iPhone, my iPad, my friends Mac. BUT I cannot login in on any browser on my surface not Chrome or Explorer. Chrome gives me the below error, explorer just flashes the page over and over again.


I have updated my computer to the latest update as of this am January 27th. I have deleted the cache, cookies etc. Still nothing works. I have sent 3 cry for help emails to Pinterest and it's a ghost town over there. Either because they can't help me or they don't reply. Now I am here hoping that someone can help me.


Can anyone help?? I am desperate! I have 2 clients who I can't do a good job with right now because the iPad Pinterest version does not have all the bells and whistles of the desktop version.

One site (Pinterest) no longer loads in Edge but it will load in IE11.


OS: Windows 10 Pro v.1607
Suddenly Pinterest.com fails to load in Edge; a few pins appear but then the page freezes. This same Pinterest account works fine in IE on this same computer and also loads fine in Edge on other computers. Here is what I've tried without success:

1. Clear browser cache and cookies
2. Delete all files in Edge recovery folder
3. Sign in with another Pinterest user account
4. Sign in with local account instead of Microsoft Account
5. Removed saved password for Pinterest
6. Reboot computer

Edge performs perfectly with all other sites. This issue is apparently limited to this one site in this one browser on this one computer. Pinterest support suggested we use IE *really Of course, but I like to figure out what causes these things to happen. It may be irrelevant but this issue was first observed following a batch of Windows updates on 12/13/16. The only one that looked like a remote possibility was KB3206632, but that was a significant cumulative update that I really do not want to uninstall. Furthermore, that same update was applied to another computer which does not exhibit this issue. I'm out of ideas. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

why is pinterest encrypted

From the above description, I understand Pinterest website is encrypted on the computer.
Please reply to a few questions asked below for better understanding and further assistance on the issue:

• Since when are you facing the above issue?
• Which browser are you using to access Pinterest
  website (Edge, Internet Explorer, others)?
• Are you facing similar issue on accessing the website on all the browsers installed on the computer or a browser in specific?

If haven’t tried, check if you are unable to access
Pinterest website on all the browsers installed on the computer.

pinterest beta is not on my phone anymore

Has there been any update on this issue? Are they planning to re-release? If I use the website version of pinterest on my windows phone, there is a huge popup suggesting that I use the app instead. This popup takes up nearly 50% of the screen--shame on
pinterest! How can they continue to suggest using an app that no longer exists? It seems they have gone to great lengths to make pinterest unusable on WP8.
