  1. 32 Base Updates on a 62 base system

I am noticing that the updates I am getting are 32 bit and I have a 64 bit system from windows 7Pro 64 bit to windows 10 Pro that should not have changed but since I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro I am getting these 32 bit updates? I noticed on the list of updates and it is only now installing a 64 bit security update. Optional? Not trusting windows update any more.

    :)

Suggestions for memory on an AM3 based system

    Hello.

I am wondering what suggestions people would suggest for a AM3 based system.

I will be getting the MSI 790FX GD-70 Motherboard and the Phenom II 955 Processor, and keeping/ reusing rest off the my system as it appears on the list on the left.

I am looking to spend a Maximiun off around £145 on ram. And will be using a 64BIT operating system.

The time i will be buying it will most likely be in Decemeber before my Goverment (UK) Raise's VAT back up to at least 17.5%.

    Thank you in advance.

    Christopher.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081444)

    Navneet Anand,

I ended up having to use the nuclear option and restore my computer using a System Image Backup. I downloaded the updates from the catalog as suggested and tried installing them one
at a time. Installing the updates manually, I have determined that the Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081441) is my issue as the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3081444) installed correctly.

So I am officially stuck. I have tried the steps you suggested to resolve this issue without success. Further assistance would be greatly appreciated.

32 Base Updates on a 62 base system

    no base system driver installed

If you open the Device Manager there should be a "base system device" with a yellow exclamation mark.

For the base system device can you in the Device Manager right-click the device > Properties > Details, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

    What is listed under "Value"?

Also, what is the make/model of the laptop?
