Windows 10: Monitor help

Laptop isn't detecting monitor.

It was working fine 2 or 3 days ago but then I unplugged it and when I tried to plug it in again to connect it to the monitor, it stopped working. I tested it with a different laptop same HDMI cable and it worked fine, so there must be something wrong with this laptop.

I also tried detecting the monitor manually by going on display settings and clicking on "detect" under "multiple displays", but it came up with "didn't detect another display".

What can I do to fix this?

Trouble with 2 monitors

I suggest you to change the settings to Extended Monitor and check if it helps.

Please follow below steps:

• Right Click any ware of the Desktop, and launch Personalization.
• Go to dual monitor settings under personalization, and change it Extended Monitor.
