Windows 10: Bluetooth speaker disconnecting mid game and causing BSD and btha2dp.sys failed

Hi,

I have a windows 10 running the latest updates.


With one of my bluetooth speakers, I often get a disconnection of the sound of the speaker. This happens in the middle of a game for example, meaning that there is sound constantly playing. In order to get the sound back, I need to turn on and off the speaker and get the bluetooth to reconnect to it. Sometimes this works and I get the sound back, but often I get a blue screen of death with a btha2dp.sys failed error.


I have tested a bluetooth headset and that did not give me the disconnection, so I couldn't test if the problem would occur on other bluetooth devices.


What can I do to investigate further and solve the problem?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Pair the Bluetooth device to the system.
• Right click on the Speaker icon in the System tray and select
  Playback Devices.
• Select the device and click on the drop down list next to Set default button.
• Select the option to connect and disconnect from the device.

BSOD Mid R6S game

I got the bluescreen mid r6s game and it appears to have been caused by ntkrnlmp.exe.

I would appreciate if somebody would give me some suggestions on how to fix this.

How to play audio/music through speakers AND bluetooth speakers


I have a pair of Creative T40 speakers plugged into the 3.5mm jack on my laptop. I got hold of a bluetooth speaker and that was recognised straight-away.

I have installed a large monitor (32inch) to the laptop on which I work as well as watch movies and play games. I was wondering if I could setup that audio, be it music, gaming audio or movie audio could be played through BOTH sets of speakers.

The main T40's are on either side of the monitor and I have the bluetooth speaker behind me on a shelf. That would, kind-of, give me surround sound. Or when I have people over I could get better sound if I could just move the bluetooth speaker to a different part of the room.

Any ideas or suggestions?
