Why does Forbes think Windows 10 is worse than bubonic plague?

The several Windows 10 devices we have in our family have at least 15-20 combined years of use on the operating system, and, essentially, have all run flawlessly. No hiccups, no surprises, no quirks, no headaches.

But in the "google news feed" on my phone, every day, there is some new story, usually from Forbes, about how Windows 10 is about as good for humanity as coronavirus, and its use as wise as a steady diet of opiods. For example, most or all of the articles in site:forbes.com "windows 10" - Google Search

It's like Forbes has a team of writers assigned solely to whip up baseless anxiety about Windows 10.

How does one explain this disparity, 15-20 combined years of headache-free coexistence for our family, versus the Forbes perpetual "sky-is-falling" coverage?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
