  1. Blurry Screen No Login Box Appearing

I use a pin for my computer and when I go to login to it no pin box appears. It is just the blurry picture. I have tried to troubleshoot and nothing is working. I have restarted many times. I don't know what my Admin password is, and I can't get into safe mode. I got in once but don't know how I did. Has anyone else had this issue? Could this have something to do with a recent update? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    :)

    Login screen does not appear

Sometimes, like half of the time, when I put my laptop in sleep mode, it fails to wake up enough to display the login screen. I must do a hard restart in order for it to appear so that I may login.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Barely,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community forum.

Since, you’re unable to get into the Safe Mode, let’s try to boot the PC into the Windows Recovery Environment.
Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) is a recovery environment that can repair common causes of unbootable operating systems.

WinRE starts automatically after detecting the following issues:

    • Two consecutive failed attempts to start Windows.
    • Two consecutive unexpected shutdowns that occur within two minutes of boot completion.

If the PC didn’t boot into WinRE yet, power on the machine and once it reaches the login screen, power it off. Repeat this for 3-4 times consecutively.

Once the PC boots into WinRE, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.

While restarting, it’ll give you an option to boot into Safe Mode. Boot into Safe Mode and see if you can login.

If you’re able to login, continue with the steps listed below:

    • Press ‘Win + R’ keys on the keyboard to launch the Run dialog box and type the following into the Run box:
      msconfig
    • Uncheck Safe Boot under Boot
      tab.
    • Save the changes and restart the normally.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

  4. Blurry Screen No Login Box Appearing

PC stuck at a blurry login screen

I recently updated my PC and now it is stuck at the login screen. It boots up normally to the lock screen, after pressing any button or using the mouse it goes to the next screen for the login but does not load the password box and the screen remains blurry.
I can use the power, network and easy of access buttons but that is it.

Safe mode will not start, restarting 3 times does not take me to the repair screen, ctrl+alt+delete does nothing, I even tried using ctrl+F8 and nothing has worked. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix/bypass the login screen?
