    Issues with Office (Whitescreen)


    Hi everyone,

    Don't know where else to post this, I've searched online and have tried the methods of remove and reinstall. Anyways, I'm in University and I'm using Windows 10 Enterprise Evaluation in Virtual Box to use Excel but when I open excel the application is all white.

    I have attempted using snapshots (to go back before installation), created a new Windows 10 VM removed and reinstalled Office but the results are the same. The application is all white and some black and not usable.

    The VM has two CPU's, and 4GB of RAM. I attached a picture of the re-installation.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hi Ian, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

    Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

    Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

    On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the Online Repair, it is a comprehensive fix

    That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .
