Windows 10: BSOD pop up after delete hibernation file (a few seconds later), also the hibernation file...

I clean install Windows 10 via USB and after that I check my PC storage and I noticed the hibernation file that I dont even know it even exist take for like 12 GB, I use the method which disable both hibernation mode + delete the file and a few seconds later, i got the BDOD Page Fault In Nonpaged Area, I have to run sfc and also dism to fix it or at least repair the damage system file..

The other advantage to disabling Hibernate is that you recoup a huge chunk of drive space. Hiberfile.sys on my system was 6+Gb, disabling Hibernate deletes the file.

Failed how? If you have hybrid or hibernate enabled, the file will be in use. So no, you cannot delete it.

 

Does hibernate save windows clipboard copy file ?

The clipboard is NOT a file. It holds its data in memory.

The clipboard data does survive a hibernation.

You could easily answer the question yourself like so:

1. Press PrtSc
2. Hibernate
3. Return from hibernation
4. Open Word
5. Press Ctrl+V to paste the clipboard's contents.
