Windows 10: My computer has forgotten me

I really need help! I was trying to change where I wanted one of my video games to go to a different file and when I tried that everything appeared to have frozen and then everything got deleted and my background went black. So I restarted and nothing changed... Even though everything is different and some stuff I have to sign into now my computer still has all of it's old files on my HDD but I'm not sure how to recover everything it's so weird because my computer doesn't seem to recognize me when the files are literally right there I'm so confused on what to do. Please help me.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
