Windows 10: Strange item appearing on changing volume

Found this site while trying to find a way to change the HUGE VISUAL that shows up whenever I change the volume (see attached photo). I don't know what the thing is called, so that hampers my search.
Some people may like it, but it generally is just way too big and stays visible for way too long so I'd like to turn it off if I can.
Any assistance in figuring this out if most welcome

Excellent, that helped to get rid of the huge visual. Any idea if it's possible to get rid of the small one?

If your phone is acting strange and almost "buggy" I suggest that you try to reset your phone back to factory defaults and see if the icons appear again after adding the email accounts.



Windows Phone 7 Factory Reset:

• From Start on your Windows Phone, flick left to the App list.
• Tap Settings, then tap about.
  
• From the about screen, tap reset your phone, located at the bottom of your screen.
  
• Click yes to confirm your reset.
