Windows 10: "Save as" freeze on my Asus laptop after windows 10 update.

Okay im not at all tech guy. But sience i update my Asus laptop whit the latest windows 10 update, i've had a problem where if i use the "Save as" function in google chrome for example, at some point it will just will be unable to pop up and it will first freeze chrome, then it will also freeze folders from loading and make my pc to unable to open secondary menu when pressing right click. The weirdest thing is that all the other programs seem to work fine. Not even task manager is help for trying to shut down the frozen program as that will go to "not responding" mode as well. Also even if i manage to shut down the program with the windows automatic "this program isn't responding. Want to shut it down?" Pop up. It still completely kill my access to any folders or trying open them. Then my only thing i'm forced to do at that point is just shut down the pc and open it back again. Then everything is alright like nothing happen. (There was also a one point where my pc managed to make the "save as" pop up to appear and it seemed to fix it)

I don't know if this is windows 10 update fuckery or if its lack of space on my c: drive because of the "windows.old" folder still being there. (It did notify me to free up space when i first opened my pc after the windows 10 update.)

So im kinda in a middle ground of "is my possible lack computer drive space the problem or is the update just unreversably fucked my computer."

(Also a bonus this fuckery kinda remainds me when in our school computers have this seperate drive that can be accessed from all computers and usually if its full and you try to access it it will just freeze up everything so maybe its a lack of space issue?)

Asus Laptop Freezes Factory Reset

So I'm trying to Factory Reset my Asus laptop and while it prepares for a total reset it freezes and I've tried restarting the laptop and trying again but it freezes this is on Windows 10

  Does the computer freezes for long time, more than 10min?
  

This issue may occur, due to the Display driver’s corruption. Since you are able to get into the Desktop screen I suggest you to follow the below steps to fix the issue.

Method 1: I suggest you to Disconnect all he external devices connected to the computer. This is to check if the issue is conflicted to the external devices.

Also install all the Windows pending updates.

I suggest you to
install the updates again, and restart the computer.

  In search type Check for updates and hit enter.

  Click on Check for updates, Windows will automatically download the latest updates.
  

Method 2: Try updating the display driver through device manager and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

    Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.

    Right click on the Display Adapter and click on
    Update driver software.
    

Method 3: I suggest you to
install drivers, also install Windows 10 chipset drivers from the same link and check.

I suggest you to go to the motherboard manufacturer website and download/install all the devices driver.

Since the computer freezes while booting and as it take too long time to boot to desktop screen, I suggest you to follow the below steps.

Method 4:

I suggest you to follow the Fast startup option Settings, if you are able to boot to the desktop screen.

  You may also try enabling the Fast Startup.

  Press Windows
  + X key and click Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Power options.
  
• 
  Click on "Choose what the power buttons do".
  
• 
  Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable". If it prompts to click on yes, then click

  Uncheck "Turn on fast startup (Recommended)" under shutdown settings.
