Windows 10: how do OEMs change the windows start screen logo?

So I have been wondering, how do OEMs like Dell, HP, and Toshiba change the windows 10 start screen logo? If you bought a computer from one of these companies, when you turn it on the windows logo will be replaced with the logo of the company on the start up screen. Is there a registry key that needs to be changed to make this happen? How do they do it?

Black screen after 'Starting Windows' sequence

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Booting into windows would start showing the OEM logo as usual, but then the screen goes black and the OEM logo shows up again

Method 1: System Maintenance troubleshooter

Please follow the steps to run System Maintenance troubleshooter on the computer:

1.Type “Control Panel” on the search box.

2.Click on Troubleshooting.

3.Click on View all option on the left side of the Windows.

4.Click on System Maintenance option.

5.Click on Next and follow the onscreen instructions to troubleshoot the issue.

Method 2: Fast startup

Also, I suggest you to enable the fast startup

You can try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Go to, Settings, Then System, Then,
  Power and sleep.
• Click on Additional power settings. Then "Choose what the power button does".
• Click on Change Settings. Finally unclick "Turn on fast start up".
• Save Settings.
