Windows 10: Widows 10 Turns Itself on Everyday

Everyday at about 10:07 AM my system turns itself on. I have researched this issue and all solutions I have found so far have failed to fix this issue. And to be clear, this is turning on from being completely off, not asleep. I have changed multiple different settings to disallow devices and Windows from waking up, the autostart option in my bios is turned off, to no avail.

This seems like something that should never be happening to begin with, considering the more time your computer is on and connected to internet the more likely you are to have people attempting to hack you; additionally it is a waste of energy when your computer turns itself on without you being around to use it.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.

cannot turn off jump list

Hi Rohit,

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to turn off the Jump Lists on Windows 10:

• Go to Start menu, search Settings, then press
  Enter.
• Click Personalization.
• Select Start.
• Turn off the Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or taskbar.
