    Onedrive conflicting with Office-Applications

When I've opened from my local Onedrive-folder any Office 365 document - Word, Excel or Powerpoint - and close it again, and reopen that Office Application the recently used file doesn't show up in the list of 'Recent'-files in the Office Application. When I've worked in a document outside the Onedrive-folder, for example a document that's on my Desktop, there is no problem. It shows up in the list of Recent-files. So it has something to do with the Onedrive. When I disconnect my PC from Onedrive the problem is solved, but hey, I want to use Onedrive.

It might have something to do with cldfltr.sys. A few weeks ago I got this error: "Onedrive cannot connect to windows." I used this solution to that error: https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...onedrive-7c5b675f-555e-4aa1-b4d8-554698c2c2b9 , where cldfltr is involved. Thát error disappeared, but my use of Office is pretty rough now, considering the fact that I always have to search for the documents I worked in.

Anyone with an idea to fix this?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

    OneDrive as an application?

Lately OneDrive appears as one of the applications installed on my system; and the Windows Exprolorer lists it among the content of the system.
As shown there, it appears to contain a single file (or feature, maybe not a real file) with this name: .849C9593-D756-4E56-8D6E-42412F2A707B. Clicking on this just opens an empty Notebook and nothing else happens.

    - How can I get rid of this application, as it seems quite useless, and I'm not aware of having installed it myself?
I cannot delete the file mentionned because a process keeps it open, a pop-up says.
I cannot uninstall OneDrive because that option is disabled on the list of applications.

    - And what is this OneDrive application anyway? It doesn’t seem to be the same thing as OneDrive, the storage space in the cloud, which I use regularly, and performs all right.

    Thanks for any help.
