Windows 10: Error code 0x80070652

I'm in a bit of a mess. I updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. All seemed okay. Turned laptop on this afternoon and it has virtually stopped working. I can't get onto the internet even though the signal is showing as strong. I've tried Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome - nothing happens. I've tried several times to use Windows 10 Update Assistant but it eventually brings up the error code above. It is almost as though I have lost Windows or the laptop is trying to find files that aren't there. I can't do anything without it coming up ..... 'not responding'. I don't know where to go from here. If anyone can helpI would really appreciate it. I'm trying to use my Samsung R530 laptop.

Windows 10 upgrade error code 0x80070652

I've been trying to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10. It takes awhile, gets to 78%, then errors out. Error code is 0x80070652. This is not in the Microsoft published list of error codes. Can someone tell me what this error code means and
how to resolve it?
