  1. GameDVR using up literally almost al my RAM (12-14gb)??

This mostly happens when I turn on background recording, it will sometimes work fine for a little bit then randomly spike up to using 12-14gb of ram, which makes my computer pretty much unusable at that point. I need to use the background recording function for a game I play, but something is clearly wrong here. My settings are all standard and it only records 1 minute behind, but regardless should not be using this much RAM. Some of my friends use this feature and have no issues with it at all. Is this a common issue, and what can I do to fix it??

    GameDVR Listing Problems (Windows 10)

When I record a video on the GameDVR application, the footage does not appear in the GameDVR listings though it appears in the location that I set it to. This means that I can not trim or upload the video within the app.

    I have tried:

    - Restarting computer.

    - Deleting everything inside folder.

    - Recording another video.

    Thanks!

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin GameDVR using up literally almost al my RAM (12-14gb)?? :D

    in Windows 10 Ask Insider
GameDVR needs 2GB RAM?: I'm overall very satisfied with the gamebar and the ability to record. I really like how less performance impact background recording has when I play games (I lose just 1-2 FPS). However, in task manager I noticed that it needs nearly 2 gigabyte RAM/MEMORY. is this normal or...
