  1. powercfg -requestsoverride EVERYTHING

Posted this to r\techsupport but nothing came of it

Sometimes I'll get up in the morning and find my PC has been on all night because there is a random tab open in firefox that has a muted video ad or something similar..

I also have kids around that may leave a game open or stream running which prevents sleep.

    My quesion is this:

Is there a simple way to force windows 10 to sleep after say, 30 minutes of no mouse/keyboard input, with no other conditions? I have no desire to watch movies or listen to music through my computer.

I'd rather tap the mouse once an hour vs finding the computer has been awake for days on end.

    powercfg -requestsoverride errors

Did you run the command below to check your command. If the powercfg /requests shows the Realtek driver it use whatever it shows, as indicated by the listing after using the command.

    powercfg /requestsoverride /?

    powercfg /requestsoverride doesn't work on Windows 10

My Win10 1709 (16299.15) doesn't go to sleep even if I have added the following requestsoverrides:

    PS C:\Windows\system32> powercfg /requestsoverride

    [SERVICE]

    [PROCESS]

    [DRIVER]

    USB\VID_10F5&PID_2129&MI_03\6&f5ef449&0&0003 SYSTEM

    USB Audio Device (USB\VID_10F5&PID_2129&MI_03\6&f5ef449&0&0003) SYSTEM

    Legacy Kernel Caller SYSTEM

    PS C:\Windows\system32> powercfg /requests

    DISPLAY:

    None.

    SYSTEM:

    [DRIVER] USB Audio Device (USB\VID_10F5&PID_2129&MI_03\6&f5ef449&0&0003)

An audio stream is currently in use.

How to add valid powercfg /requestsoverride to handle these DRIVERs and allow computer to sleep?

This is FRESHLY installed Windows 10, and I've run sfc /scannow, powercfg /restoredefaultschemes, Power Troubleshooter, ensured latest drivers on everything, etc. without any effect or help.

    powercfg -requestsoverride EVERYTHING

Win 10 POWERCFG -requestsoverride does not work

My windows 10 Home Premium prematurely wakes up from sleep and this is what I see

    C:\WINDOWS\system32>POWERCFG -REQUESTS

    DISPLAY:

    None.

    SYSTEM:

    [DRIVER] \FileSystem\srvnet

An active remote client has recently sent requests to this machine

I added the following requests, neither of which prevent the pc from waking up with the same message as above

    POWERCFG -requestsoverride DRIVER \FileSystem\srvnet SYSTEM

    POWERCFG -requestsoverride DRIVER srvnet SYSTEM

btw, this machine was updated from windows 7, where this command

    POWERCFG -requestsoverride DRIVER \FileSystem\srvnet SYSTEM

prevented the machine from prematurely waking up

some other details; however, I do not think they are pertinent to the above bug:
