Windows 10: windows hello self forgets pin once a week

Every 5 to 7 days windows 10 forgets I have an hello pin and when starting up claims there is no internet connection when there clearly is. I am then forced to login using my local password and when finally logged in, the security center pretends I never set up a pin- so I set up the same one again and the rediculous cycle begins again. I checked all drivers and according to windows 10 all are up to date and all windows 10 updates are current. Is this the way it is supposed to work? I like the idea of the pin but all traces of ever having one disappearing from my machine so completely and so often raises some serious security concerns. No virus or rootkits are detected using panda dome and several other utilities. What gives?

Disable Sign In PIN

You can also disable PIN using registry. Try these steps:

1. Open Registry Editor.
2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System.
3. Set AllowDomainPINLogon to 0.
4. Close Registry Editor and reboot your system.
