Windows 10: Windows 10 1909 - Network icon in taskbar shows no internet access on ethernet connection...

I've searched Google a dozen times and can't find a solution to this issue.


First, a few details:

I'm using a Dell XPS 8910, Qualcomm Atheros ethernet card, connected to an Archer TP1750 router.

I'm running Windows 10 1909.


The Problem:

My taskbar network icon is currently showing my network connection followed by the phrase "no internet access." Thing is, I'm connected. I'm on this forum typing this question on the very computer that says it has no internet access.


For most software, this is not an issue at all, but I can't connect to the Microsoft Store, sync my Microsoft account, and a variety of similar issues.


Network Reset resolves the issue for a few hours at most.

I've used command prompt to reset things so many times I wrote a batch file. It only works for a few hours, and then I'm back to the globe icon with no internet access.

I've updated my network drivers. No change.

I've edited registry values. No change.


Can anybody help me fix this? It's slowly driving me crazy.

Ethernet icon not showing in taskbar (windows 10)

Not showing ethernet icon in taskbar while flight mode is on. but internet connectivity is there through lan network. So is there any possibility to show ethernet icon in taskbar while flight mode is on., kindly help

 

how to control taskbar Internet icon 1909?

The taskbar Internet icon often contradicts what the rest of Windows 1909 indicates as happening (and contradicts what actually Is happening with the Internet connection)

I have been asking for WEEKS so far in tenforums with NO replies and NO advice and NO suggestions!

Internet icon often not showing on taskbar with Mobile Partner

Have found some work-arounds which are (only!) sometimes effective; the only one that solidly works (and then only for 1 - 3 days max) is to uninstall/re-install Mobile Partner (which never had such problems in 1703 or 1903) .... or use a different port, which then only works for 1 - 3 days.

 

Ethernet Connection Shows "unidentified network and no internet access"

I'm a student and I went and got my PC hooked up for the campus ethernet, the connection was fine for about 3 days and after that it started showing a message saying "unidentified network and no internet access" after that it just said network and no internet
access, while if I hook a laptop to to the same cable it connects to the internet with no problem at all, but my PC says no internet access. Is there a way to fix this problem and my PC is using windows 10
