  1. Folder names alphabetized in groups.

I suddenly found that, unbeknownst to me, the files in one of my folders had been divided into groups: I to P and Q to Z. The group A to O was not included, so all my files with initials A to O are missing from the folder. How can I eliminate the groupings and get all my files to show in the folder window again?

    :)

  2. Favourites Folders -alphabetical sorting within each Folder

    Hi Neil,

Let me provide you now the steps on how to to sort your folders in alphabetical order.

This method will allow you to arrange your favorites by alphabetical or by their numbers.

    Here are the steps:

    • Open Internet Explorer.
    • Click on Favorites.
    • Right-click on Favorites Bar.
    • Right-click on the Favorites folder.
    • Click on Sort by, then select Name and
      Ascending
      .

Let us know if you have any further questions.

  3. Windows 10 File Manager - Need To Sort Alphabetically But Not Group Files And Folders Separately

The file manager has always grouped folders separately from the files. If you sort by Name > Ascending, folders are always grouped together and then sorted alphabetically and then repeats this for any files, but the two never mix.

    You end up with:

    Folder A, Folder B, Folder C followed by File A, File B, File C.

Is there a way to sort alphabetically without them grouping so that you end up with:

    File A, Folder A, File B, Folder B, ect.

Alphabetical Order of Doc & Folders

    Hi,

I am trying to get all my documents and folders, listed (sorted) into alphabetical order. I have tried but it will only allow for them to be sorted by the following groups at one time.

    a-h

    i -p

    q-z

Whereas I would like all of the files to be alphabetical A - Z all the time and all together for ease of searching and finding certain things quickly

    Thanks Jane
