I really find it incredible that the clunker that is Windows 10 has been forced on the world by Microsoft when we already had a perfectly good and well working OS in Windows 7 but here we are. I have tried every solution offered online to rectify my problem such as disabling this or that in user accounts and in the security section of the control panel but am still unable to install new programs on my own machine. I'm not sure if you can imagine how angry this makes me but to give you an idea, I've had to have the fire department over several times since doing the so called "upgrade" to Windows 10 to douse the flaming mess that is myself. I keep getting the message, "An administrator has blocked you from running this app. For more information contact the administrator." ??? Well I did and since that person is me I told myself that I didn't do it and I don't know what I'm talking about! grrr! This whole affair is reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 7 debacle to me and if this cannot be solved soon I'm either going to go back to Windows 7 and take my chances or just dump this awful imitation of an OS and start anew by trying one of the Linux distros. I will appreciate any and all constructive comments attempting to solve this problem.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
