Desktop PC warning "Low Battery - Plug Computer In"

    Hi Jaime,

We would appreciate if you could provide more details about the issue. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • Did you perform any changes prior to the issue?
    • Have you tried updating the computer to the latest update?
In the meantime, we recommend that you directly connect your desktop to the power source/outlet without using the UPS. This will help us identify the root cause of the issue.

If the issue persists after removing the UPS, we suggest running the hardware troubleshooter to further diagnose the issue. Kindly follow the steps below to perform it:

    • Open Cortana, type Troubleshoot and press
      Enter
      .
    • Look for Find and fix other problems category.
    • Under it, choose Hardware and Devices.
    • Click Run the troubleshooter button and follow the on-screen steps to run it.
Update us with the outcome so we provide further assistance.

Low power PSUs for low power PC

Thank you for suggesting it, but I don't think the better integrated graphics compensate for the weak processing power in comparison to the Athlon II. Actually I did consider Fusion E-350 for my build, but its APU didn't impress me enough to buy it; I'm certain that an Athlon II paired with a 4670 is better in every aspect. And I forgot to mention, maybe I'll get a graphics card after all, but until the 28nm GPUs come out. A card with hd4870 performance is good enough for me, by that time I hope they are >$100 and have low power consumption. In the meantime, IGP will do for me.

Now, I made yet some more changes and this is my current shopping cart:

ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner - Bulk - OEM

Seagate Barracuda ST3500413AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

BIOSTAR A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

    COOLER MASTER Elite 460 RS-460-PSAR-J3 460W ATX12V V2.31 Power Supply

    G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-2GBNQ

    AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor ADX250OCGMBOX

    MASSCOOL FD08025S1M4 80mm Case Fan

Everything will be about $250 shipped to Denver, from there my aunt would mail it to me and finally I'll have myself a decent PC again \m/. If you think/feel that something is not right with that build please tell me. Also, that DVD drive will burn DVD R+ DL right? It says so in the Details list, but you never know.

I went 880G+ instead, the price difference is low and, if the naming scheme of chipsets is the same GPUs, it should be better overall. Thanks for your suggestion but a single core won't cut it for me, and I'd rather not gamble the extra core. I had an Athlon II X2 before and it was really good, the PC never freezed on me while I had it (yes, that's my definition of good!). Thanks again for suggesting, and thanks to everyone else for answering.
