    Hello, I can connect to the internet just fine. I can use it on my Browser Brave but cannot use it on any other program. I think this is because brave is using a proxy that works. I needed to switch a proxy setting on and off for a program my friend wanted me to run.     As You can see it is as normal. I have restarded multiple times. Should i re image / resit Win 10 or should i wait. All computers both IOS and Windows on my connection work just fine.

    proxy settings

    Hi Mike,

    To set up a proxy server in Windows 10, you may follow the following steps.

    • Press the Windows key and I to open
      Settings      .
    • Click on Network & Internet.
    • Under Proxy you can either Automatically set up a proxy or
      Manual set up a proxy server.

    Windows could not automatically detect this network’s proxy settings

    @Compumind @Samuria

    Hi - Just so you know, I'm marking this "problem solved". I found this online How to Solve the Windows Could Not Automatically Detect Network Proxy Settings Error. Doing the last step under #2 is what solved the problem. McAvee is still scanning incoming. McAvee & Malwarebytes still show no problems with a full scan. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
