  1. Surface Pro 4 - Bluetooth not working I cannot connect new devices/paired devices not working

    Hi community.

I have a Surface Pro 4 with Bluetooth not working I cannot connect new devices/paired devices not working.

I try all the troubleshooting suggested by the community:

    • Reinstall drivers
    • disable and re-enable Bluetooth in start
    • wipe my device twice

After a full wipe it worked for some time but it haven't working for the last 2 months

is there any firmware update or something else I can try to make this working.

    :)

Windows 10 - Microsoft surface pro 4 will not detect bluetooth devices

My Microsoft surface pro 4 worked fine yesterday, then my bluetooth mouse stopped working. At this point, it was still paired, but not working.

I tried to remove the device and re-pair it, however the surface pro will not detect the mouse. Trying to pair other items, it will not detect any other bluetooth devices. (eg headsets, speakers, etc.)

The bluetooth pen still works, and the bluetooth radio is on. The mouse pairs with other devices, so it seems the problem is with the Surface pro.

Any ideas how to fix this?

  3. connecting bluetooth devices with Surface Pro

I have a Surface Pro 4 (I think that's the number). I also have a Designer Mouse and Designer Keyboard. They have been working fine for a couple years, but since I installed the last major Windows Update a couple weeks ago, I can't get them to connect.
They show up as paired, but not connected. I removed the devices and try to pair them again. The computer finds the device, but when I tap on it to connect, it tries, but then says, "Try to connect later."

I have this same mouse and keyboard at work where I have an HP laptop. I haven't had this issue after installing the Windows Update on my work computer; just at home with my Surface Pro.

Is there some recent issue with Surface Pros and Bluetooth connectivity?

    Bluetooth Devices will not Pair

    Hi,

Hopefully this is the correct Forum !

I have a Microsoft Mouse 5000 and Wedge keyboard (the early one that does not fold).
    Both have been working perfectly.

Recently I paired them both successfully with a new Samsung tablet, but when I came to use them again on my laptop,
I found that I could not pair either of them.

I have spent countless hours researching this without success.

    Here's where I am now:

Settings > Bluetooth & other devices does not list either of them.
Device Manager > Bluetooth has both of them showing and reports both working properly.

    Device Manager reports as follows:

    Notebook Mouse 5000:
No driver files are required or have been loaded
The Events tab says that further installation is required

    Wedge Mobile Keyboard:
No driver files are required or have been loaded
The Events tab says that further installation is required

The 2 Service Discovery Service entries also report that further installation is required.

Can anyone suggest the way forward, please ?

    Regards.
