  1. Should i remove the stolen device from my account?

    Hello,

So unfortunately my laptop was stolen a week ago, and i just found out today that there's a Find My Device feature from Microsoft. Anyway, the result of the location shows the location from before i lost the laptop, so i already gave up with the laptop. and for your information, my laptop isn't locked and my email and this microsoft account are logged in the laptop.

The thing i want to ask is should i remove the device from my account or not? does it makes any differences if i do? would it logs out my email and this microsoft account from the laptop if i choose to remove the device?

Please help me by answeringmy questions,

    Thank you so much.

    :)

    Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:
      Code:
      net user test /del

Laptop was stolen, how do I remove acces to my Microsoft account?

Sign into your Microsoft account. There should be a "devices" tab towards the right. Open that tab and remove the device from the list. Also, change your Microsoft account password as recomended.

Laptop was stolen, how do I remove acces to my Microsoft account?

Sign in to account.live.com. If your device is listed like in screenshot 1, click 'See all'. On the next screen, if you've activated 'Locate device' you'll see it's location if it was signed in. The Remove laptop' option is highlighted. Good Luck.
