Windows 10: Windows theme slide show is not changing picture after 1 minute after selecting dark mode.

Hi, I am Hina. I have downloaded a theme from microsoft website. I have selected the theme and time select is change picture after 1 minute. Slidshow contains 6 pictures. After selected any theme, color automatically changes to light mode. As i can't tolerate brightness of white screen. So, after every time selecting slide show, i have to choose dark mode again and again. And second issue is that After selecting dark mode, slide show would not change. The one picture remains same and not change. Even the time is 1 minute.

Win-10 themes keep changing

Thank you for providing the information.

• Did you try the steps suggested by Suvarna Govinda above, what was the result?

As I understand the issue, Themes in Windows doesn't have the options to change on its own. Only the Wallpapers in the themes can change as selected ( Picture, Solid color and Slide Show ).

I would suggest you to make us understand that if the Wallpapers are changing in Theme which you have selected.

Below are the steps you can check if it helps.

• Press Windows + I keys and select Personalization.
• Select Theme and select the Default theme.
• Select the Desktop Background below and select the Picture
  and save it and check.

Desktop theme slide show

I would like to inform you that, theme slide show cannot be done on windows 10. However after applying a theme you can create a desktop background slide show.

To create a desktop background slide show follow the steps below:

• 
  Right click on the blank space on Desktop.
  
• 
  From the menu select Personalize.
  
• 
  On the windows, click on the
  background.
  
• 
  From the drop down menu select slide show.
  
• 
  Browse the albums that you want to set as slide show.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instructions.

Win 10 - File explorer doesnt change colour (to black) when i change it to dark theme

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The dark theme option for Windows explorer is only available for Windows 10 1809 build. If you are using Windows 10 1809 build, you can change the theme by following the
steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows + I key to open Settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Colors.
   
4. Select Dark under Choose your default app mode.
