  1. How to force close modern apps via command line or link

    Hi

Recently I found that the trick I was using for see the pictures in the old picture viewer is no loger working, so I have to use Photos app instead.

However, that app is very unstable and crashes every time I open a couple instances. Also, It keeps in the main taskbar even when every window is closed.

Is so broken, I'd like to have a link to a "force close" the app.

I don't want to open Settings --> Apps --> wait until the list fills a lot of time --> search for Photos and wait the loading of the icons of the apps while I go down, wich takes more time --> Advanced options --> force close.

I'd like to have a link that forces the close of the app.

If it's a win32 app i can use "taskkill /f /im "application" but this is a windows10 app and there is no "application" to write.

How can I force-close the app with a command or a link?

I have the problem with Photos right now, but I'd like to be able to close any app I need changing something in the command/link

Also, if there is other way to keep using the old W7 picture viewer; I'd prefer that

    Thanks

    :)

Windows 10 Modern Apps Force Close

Recently, I've noticed that almost every Windows 10 Modern apps stopped working including settings, most of built in apps and Cortana (Search). Everytime I open these apps, it force close instantly. Store opens up for couple of seconds and my cursor shows
that it's loading. It freezes after about 2 seconds and it disappeared. Alarms and Clock opens up but when I try to set up an alarm, the app forces close. I've checked task manager to see if there's anything wrong and all I see is ShellExperienceHost, SearchUI
and some other modern apps that I tried to launch such as SystemSettings suspended instantly. I have 2gb of ram and 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor. I've tried sfc scan, dism, WSReset, creating new user (and I got a lockscreen loop and black screen),
Microsoft Safety Scanner, resetting Windows and some other stuffs. Every modern apps work, including Settings only if I am on safe mode. I've tried disabling every start up apps but it still didn't work. I am using Malwarebytes to protect my laptop. I really
need a fix or otherwise I'd have to reinstall Windows 7. Thanks.
