    Hello.

I Just types somethin important which got lost. I didnt save it in any wasy.

I was just wondering, do windows save the keyboard input? I know such job is done by trojans, to get access code keyloggers, but i wonder if i can find a log generated by windows, in order to rester the missing info. Thanks in advance.

    Using Windows 10, Pro N

    Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

  3. [Help] Log File

    Hey all,

Has anyone used the log file with powershell? I am looking to parse the log file but it is not being friendly. I save the log file as an XML and/or CSV but it doesn't really format the data correctly.

    Log File Clean-Up

BTW, I thought it might be because of Service Pack 2 - I was getting some other problems with it installed and I noticed the log file problem shortly after installing SP2 as well. So I system restored to before installation and that made no difference with the log file problem. I don't know if that's of use or not, but I figure the more info you have the better.
