Windows 10: Windows 10 1909 Firewall keeps disappearing

I am on Windows 10 1909 Home 64 bit. I have Malwarebytes latest 4.0 pro software running as well with active protection. This pair has worked very well for the past year until now.


Windows 10 Firewall disappears from the security center, you have to get there a round about way as when you go through settings and Updates and Security and then Security the Security Window will not even show up and it appears to be endlessly searching for it. You know this has happened as the computer seems to slow down on Internet dramatically in Google Chrome yet not so much in Edge. Then you try to get in the security center the normal way and cant. You can get in through search or the icon in the systems tray and windows defender is gone.


If I run the Windows 10 firewall troubleshooter and reboot it seems to fix it temporarily and I can get to the security center though settings and the firewall is on. Just rebooting the computer does not fix the firewall


Malwarebytes Pro is set so it does not show up in the security center so Windows 10 Defender Antivirus can run. They both keep running even when the firewall is down. This has worked great like this for over a year when I got rid of Norton Anitvirus


I also ran Scannow and that found nothing. Windows and Malwarebytes scans show now viruses when they are run.


I let all updates run automatically for windows and many other softwares so they should all be up to date

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

 

Windows 10 Firewall won't keep my inbound/outbound rules

I realize the inconvenience caused to you regarding the Windows Firewall. I will certainly assist you.

I suggest you to restart the Windows firewall service and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps for the same.

• Press Windows key + R simultaneously for Run.
• Type services.msc and then Enter.
• Right click on the Windows firewall services and then restart the services and check if it helps.

If the issue still persists then I suggest you to remove and then read the Windows fire wall rule.
