MY start up SSD drive keeps filling up and stops everything working due to 'LOW SPACE' How can I make the C drive just for windows start up & updates and everything else automatically go to my D drive. ? I have done everything that Win 10 suggest but cant stop it all jamming up.

    :)

  2. SSD recognised as hard drive

Ok Cool - so your C: drive is absolutely the solid state. If you look at Speccy results (111gb SSD)

Then you look at disk management - your C drive is 120gb (110.84gb usuable) - that’s the same drive.

    A, D, and E are all HDD’s

And then B is your other SSD.

    I hope this helps!

windows 7 problem with shortcut the drive or network connection that the shortcut refers to is unavailable. Also the D drive (data) is not showing up on WinExplorer. Only the system SSD drive shows.

    Thanks for your help.

    Snaggingtool

I click SaveAs and nothing happens. No option to name file or drive etc. Nothing.

    Drive D Problem

    I have 2 HDD.

Primary is a 120GB Corsair SSD which is C Drive

Secondary is a 2TB Seagate HDD

The Device Manager only shows Corsair SSD C Drive.

The DiskMaanager also shows Corsair SSD C Drive

Windows Explorer only shows C drive.

    `SSD C:drive 120GB and Local hard drive D: 2TB

    Make new C drive!

Looks like you have a 2TB drive partitioned into a 120GB C: and the rest D:.
Do as @AddRAM said and add a new drive to boot off of, preferable a 250GB or 500GB SSD, clone the existing C: to it then remove the current C: and expand D: to claim the 120GB of the current C:

You'll get a much faster system with a 2TB D: internal drive plus the current external drive space.
