Windows 10: Microsoft Store and other microsoft stuffs went missing! Help??

Hello, so to keep things short.


2 days ago I noticed my Microsoft Store, Groove, Photos, and some others is missing. I really have no clue why this happened. I tried many things to bring it back

I've tried the WSRESET.exe , it didnt work. Windows App Troubleshooter also didn't work. Neither does PowerShell. Updating windows also didn't do the job. I even tried resetting windows but it said "There was a problem while resetting your PC, no changes were made." I've scanned for viruses and there seems to be nothing. Also these things showed up in my Apps & Features.


I'm really slow in PC related stuffs so I'll be really grateful if you can help me with this problem. I really want my Groove and Photos app back/




Idk if this is relevant but around 3 days ago I tried to go back to the previous update of windows and unfortunately my power got cut off.

Microsoft Store is Missing!!

My Laptop (HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC ) was running on Windows 10 - Version 1903. Since, it was working slow, keypad was not working properly and troubleshooter was not running, it decided to reset my laptop.

After reset, the above mentioned three problems were solved, but I found that the Microsoft Store is missing.

Now, these are the methods that I tried to get the Microsoft Store back, but didn't worked-

1. Tried Restarting laptop several times.

2. Updated my laptop to Version 1909, thinking it would restore the Microsoft Store, but this method also failed.

3. Tried Powershell method-

• Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisalbeDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

4. Tried "wsreset.exe" in Run.

5. Tried Windows Store Troubleshooter.

6. Tried DISM commands-

• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
• Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

7. Since, Microsoft Store is not listed in "Apps and features" in Settings, I couldn't try it resetting from there.

8. At the end, tried resetting my laptop again. But, again Microsoft store is missing.

After all this, Microsoft Store is still missing. Please, help me to get Microsoft Store back.

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
