    Cpu Speed


    Hi everyone, I recently installed a fresh copy of windows 10 on my laptop, along with wiping my hard drive. Something I've notice however is that shortly after starting up, my CPU speed drops from around 3.50 ghz all the way down to 0.39 ghz, where it never fluctuates, causing my laptop to run extremely slowly. Looking at task manager, my GPU and CPU usage are always at normal levels, never going above around 30% when idle. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as how to fix this? Anything would be appreciated.


    Things I've already done


    -Change CPU maximum to 100% in Processor Power Management

    -Updated my drivers using Driver Booster for Steam
