Windows 10: Can NOT get rid of task bar preview in Win 10

Last month, I reluctantly entered the unpleasant world of Win10. The UI was so bad, I'm running openshell to give it more of a Win 7 feel. However, I CANNOT get rid of the preview on the taskbar. I disabled peek, I even deleted the entry in the registry that was supposed to fix it. Nothing. I still have to use two clicks to get me where Win 7 only took one. I even changed my theme to high-contrast to disable Aero, but STILL that damn preview keeps popping up. Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this vile work flow-ruining bug? Or is there a better option to openshell?


It's clearly a problem because there are hundreds of people on google trying to get rid of it.

Critical error task bar win 10

When will the critical error for win 10 for task bar be resolved. All suggestions have been tried and this does not work.

Do you have any other suggestions or an ETA?

The Win 10 app that MS put on my Task Bar to get the upgrade will not read my new video card. It still lists the old card that wasn't compatible. I've chatted with help 2 times, with no success. I need to get rid of the old app and get a new app but I

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
