Windows 10: 2 GPUs connected to 3 monitors keeps crashing my PC

I've been having this issue for quite awhile now and have found no solution to fixing this, this is my last resort. A couple weeks ago I got 2 smaller monitors to put along with my main monitor. My main monitor is a AlienwareAW3418DW and my other 2 monitors are both AW2518HF's. I plug my main monitor into my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 and my other monitors both into my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070. Eventually, after about 10-15 minutes, my PC will stop responding. Audio will still play, but the screens all 3 and I won't be able to do anything. About 4 seconds later, my entire PCturns off. Just like if you were to unplug the cord. It just goes off. About 5 seconds later, it boots back up again. I have no idea how to fix this or even troubleshoot it at this point. All I know is that having multiple monitors causes this as it has happened when I have 3 monitors plugged in, 2 monitors plugged in, but not when I only have my main monitor. Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be appreciated greatly.

• What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
  

• How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?

(4K DP, 1440p DP, 1200p DVI-D) Triple monitor setup; 2 monitors have the same background when background is set to slideshow shuffle

My setup:

• CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
• GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition, fully updated drivers
• OS: Windows 10 Pro v1803, fully patched

Steps to reproduce:

1. Connect the monitors as in the title
2. Set wallpaper background to shuffle in Windows Settings

What happens:

2 of the monitors (always adjacent to each other) have the same background.

What should happen:

All 3 monitors should have different backgrounds.

Anyone ever seen this before? Any ideas?

 

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?
