Windows 10: Backup Registry Entry issue, please help.

So I was cleaning up my files then I found a thing in my documents that said 'Backup Registry Entry' or something along those lines.


I tried to open it, then it brought up a prompt that I didn't really read and clicked yes on it really stupid, i know it then brought up another prompt for Registry Editor which I also clicked yes on.


As soon as I did that, I couldn't open any of my applications, Chrome was open while I was doing these, I tried opening a website, it wouldn't work. I tried opening some games, didn't work aswell, it brought up some prompt that said something about the registry files not being aligned or something.


Now I'm stuck in Windows Recovery Environment, I tried resetting my PC and it got to 47% then just went back to the 'Advanced Options' screen on the Recovery Environment.


Please I really need help, I just got this PC and can't really afford another one and I really need this.

How to backup and restore registry using only win10 iso command prompt

In a link it suggested several registry troubleshooting steps for a Windows with black screen.

For Windows 10 1909 how do you backup and restore one registry change using a windows 10 iso command prompt?

If more than one registry entry is modified how do you backup and restore a second change?

In addition to modifying one or two commands how do you backup and restore the whole registry when the only access is via a windows 10 iso command prompt?

 

Registry issues

Try CCleaner . Might help , you can use scan , without erasing invalid registry entries and stuff like that . I don`t have the answer to your problem , but you can try it . I personally never try to fix registry issues , i just make clean OS installs if needed . In most of the cases you wont be able to fix them .
