Disk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot

I have a desktop PC that was originally Win 7. Back in January, I installed Win 10 in a dual boot configuration.

All has been fine with Win 10 so I am ready to remove the dual boot (Win 7) OS. I've read the tutorial on removing it here: How to Remove and Uninstall Windows 7, 8, or 10 from Dual Boot PC

I'm just looking for a little guidance on how to re-partition the Win 10 (CDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :) drive so I don't mess up and cause a problem.

    Here is the current configuration:

Disk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot [IMG]

There is only 1 physical disk - Disk 0. It is a Samsung 1TB 860 Pro SSD.

I want to do two things:

    1) Delete the Win 7 partition (KDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :) and turn it into unallocated space so I can add it to the Win 10 partition (CDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :)

    2) Delete the Lenovo_Recovery partition (QDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :) and turn it into unallocated space so I can add it to the Win 10 partition (CDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :)
(The recovery partition is for Win 7 from the factory when I bought the system in 2014 and is now useless) Also, note that the recovery partition is a logical drive. I'm not sure if that makes any difference.

I use Macrium Reflect regularly and will create a full disk image before making any of these changes.

I have AOMEI Partition Assistant on a bootable USB flash drive. Can I use it to delete the 2 volumes and then extend the Win 10 (CDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :) partition with the two chunks of unallocated space, or is there a better way? Will there be additional problems since the two chunks of unallocated space will be on each side of the Win 10 (CDisk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot :) partition?

Thanks for any guidance or suggestions.

    :)

  2. Uninstall Ubuntu Dual boot and Repairing Dual Boot in Windows 10

    Hello.

I had dual-booted my Dell laptop which came with preinstalled Windows 10. I had dual booted with Ubuntu 16.04 by creating a partition on the disk. To remove this dual boot, i.e. I only wanted to keep Windows 10, I formatted the disk, drive F(in my case),
where Ubuntu was stored. But, now whenever I boot my system, a black grub screen comes with the following message:

"Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device completions.

    grub> _"

Upon writing 'exit', I am able to enter Windows.

    1. I wish to know the reason behind it and how it can be removed.

    2. I found this site, Uninstall Ubuntu Dual boot, I went ahead and performed all the steps. But somehow
    ended up with this error.

Also, I saw your reply on this thread Repairing Dual Boot in Windows 10.
But it did not help me to remove my error. I will really appreciate your help in removing this error.

    Thank you.

    Dual Boot?

I can help here iv had both i used partition magic to split my HDD and i installed vista on one and xp was already on the other only problem is id watch out if i were you for some reason vista does not like to dual boot iv seen this on a couple of my machines and my buddys. so step one have xp installed step 2 find a partitioner of your choice i dont know of any except partition magic and the one included on xp...only thing is i dont think the one on xp will even partition them...then pop in your vista DVD and select the drive of your choice....the only thing i can think of that causes vista to hate dual booting sooo much is that when their are 2 OS's installed xp uses its own prog to list them on boot well vista uses a totally diff boot loader than the previous os's and i think they conflict the problems i hade were the standard missing windows folder missing HAL.dll and the nt one dont remember the name.....that and after your done vista and boot into xp things didnt like to start correctly specially if you scan disk with vista.

Disk Partition Question After Removing Dual Boot

    Removing windows XP dual boot

Ok, here's my situation. I had been running XP on my primary partition, and then Vista (mainly as a trial) on another partition. I just recently decided to stick with XP and format the other partition for all storage. I used Disk Management to do the format, but whenever my computer reboots, I still get the dual boot screen. How do I go about removing this dual boot screen? Or at least, how do I set my primary boot to XP if I can't remove it, so I don't always have to hit the arrow key up to "Previous Version of Windows" every time I boot?
