  1. Computer fails to boot; various blue error messages

Hello! My computer is freaking out. The other day it randomly crashed and I got a blue screen with an error message. Something along the lines of, ": your computer encountered an error and needs to restart." It restarted itself, but it never fully booted back up. It took me to various "automatic repair" options, but I've tried every option available and with each one there is a different error message. For example, "Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC," "Additional space is needed on the drive where Windows is installed [to reset your PC]. Free up some space and try again," "We ran into a problem and won't be able to take you back to the previous version of Windows. Try resetting your PC instead." Since that day I haven't been able to use my computer at all--every time I try to turn it on, it takes me to these automatic repair wizards, that don't seem to work.

To give you some context, the computer has been acting up for a while. Issues include:

    1. Google Chrome randomly crashing on websites where the scripts seem too long netflix, facebook, etc...
    2. The disk is full talking about memory/available space, and no matter how many/which programs/files I delete, it never seemed to free up any space
    3. Windows hasn't been able to update itself due to lack of storage for many months, so various drivers and functions were out of date.

Any ideas on what I could do to fix this issue and be able to use my computer again?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 Blue Screen and various error messages

    Hi,

As you are facing multiple BSOD errors on your device, do not worry we will help you with this issue.

Blue Screen errors (also sometimes called black screen errors or STOP code errors) can occur if a serious problem causes Windows to shut down or restart unexpectedly. You might see a message that says, "Windows has been shut down to prevent damage
to your computer”. These errors can be caused by both hardware and software problems.

Provide us additional information to assist you better:

    • What is the make and model of your computer?
    • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue?

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION: This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics driver’s crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code.

IRQL NOT LESS THAN EQUAL: This Stop error message usually occurs during installation when there was an attempt in kernel mode to touch pageable memory at too high a process
internal request level (IRQL). Typically, this error occurs when a driver uses an incorrect memory address. Other possible causes of this error include an incompatible device driver, a general hardware problem, or incompatible software.

Step 1: I suggest you to boot the device on Safe mode with networking (which boots the operating system with minimal set of drivers) and check if the issue persists.

Refer: Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10

Step 2: If the issue persists,
I suggest you to test the issue by placing the computer in a Clean Boot state helps in eliminating software conflicts.

    Disclaimer: Putting your system in
Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue. You need to follow the steps from the article mentioned below to perform a Clean Boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

(Applies to Windows 10 as well)

Note: After troubleshooting, refer to the section “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with
Clean Boot” to return the computer to a
    Normal startup mode.

Step 3: Follow the below steps to
place the computer in normal mode.

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run
      command.
    • Type msconfig and press Enter.
    • In the System Configuration window, click on
      General
      tab.
    • Select Start-up selection as Normal startup, click on
      Apply and Ok.
    • Follow onscreen instructions.

Hope it helps. Get back to us with an updated status of BSOD errors with the required information for further assistance.

    Thank you.

USB ports fail, then blue screen of death on three Windows 10 computers -- Can this be fixed or is this caused by a virus?

    Marque:

"were you to able to your computer normally or can it boot to the desktop screen?" No. All that displays upon (re)booting are blue screen messages. Because of this, we cannot perform the tasks you listed such as troubleshooting
blue screen errors. No error number appears. I do have several jpg's of the various blue screens that display (I described them in my first message). Let me know if it would be helpful for me to attach one or more. Thanks.
