Windows 10: installing windows 10 on new hard drive

I am looking to install a new hard drive on my lap top. It originally came with windows 7 which now has windows 10 from the free install when it was offered. Will I be able to install windows 10 on the new drive. If so how would I do that?

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Download and create an installation media (ISO) for Windows 10 form the link below:
  
  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
  
• Disconnect the 1TB and 3TB Hard Drives and install Windows 10 on the SSD using the installation media by following the steps provided by Andre Da Costa in the link below:
  How to: Upgrade from Previous Versions of Windows Using Windows 10 ISO file
• Connect the External drives (1 & 3 TB) and check for status.
