  1. Broken App Data-Can't Delete-Running In Secret?

So a couple months ago I had downloaded an app called Discord, but then I couldn't start it so I ended up looking through it's files. Whenever I'd try to delete a file, a message would pop up saying that "This file is open right now" and "can't be deleted until I close it", but I had no other pages open??? Is this some bug or hidden running? I would really like to delete this because my Java keeps sending me a message every time I turn on my laptop that "It couldn't boot up Discord" and "Something went wrong" when I'm not even running it? Restarting my laptop doesn't work either, it still says it's running.

Please respond quickly, and Thank you for your time!

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Broken App Data-Can't Delete-Running In Secret? :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

  3. The Secret Society Hidden Myst

    Hi Harry,

A corrupted profile data associated with the game and an outdated version of the game are two possible factors that we have to take into consideration when troubleshooting issues with launching a game on Windows 10. Here are the troubleshooting solutions
that you may perform to resolve this concern:

    Solution 1: Run troubleshooter

The Windows apps troubleshooter can help resolve issues with apps and games downloaded from the Windows Store. In addition, we also suggest running the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter to help diagnose and resolve compatibility issues encountered when
running games on Windows 10. Refer to the following links for the steps:

Solution 2: Check for game updates

If you've downloaded the game from the Windows Store, you may manually search if there are updates available for the game. Refer to

Check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store
    for the steps.

    Solution 3: Delete Temporary files

Temporary files are automatically deleted after exiting an application or a game. However, restarting your computer without exiting an active Windows session won't delete temporary files. These files may cause issues running games on Windows 10. To resolve
this, we suggest that you perform the following steps on how to remove temporary files:

    • Click Start and click Settings.
    • Select System.
    • Select Storage.
    • Select This PC.
    • Click Temporary files.
    • Choose Temporary files.
    • Click Remove files.
    • Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Launch the game and check if the same issue occurs.

Notify us with the progress. We'd be glad to further assist you.

  4. Broken App Data-Can't Delete-Running In Secret?

Many built-in Windows apps broken since late April / early May 2016

Repair Upgrade-Keeps everything including applications, files and data(just like you upgraded from Windows 7/8 to 10 which kept everything)

Clean Install-Removes everything and puts the older windows into windows.old.

You might also go through this to try if the apps work.

PS sorry Greg for taking over.
