  1. HP Windows 10- Battery 0% available plugged in, not charging

I have been using the current HP laptop for 4 years. The processor is Corei5. However, the battery has stopped charging since 6 months and the laptop runs on AC. After seeking online assistance through various forums to check battery status I am left helpless. An attempt to run the battery health report has also failed. The command is returned with a statement "Unable to perform operation. An unexpected error 0*10d2 has occurred. The library, drive or the media pool is empty."

Can anyone help me further with this?

    :)

  2. 0% Available ( Plugged in , Charging )

    Hello Community,

I have an Hp Pavilion Windows 10 laptop that is almost 2 years old.

The system has been off for sometime and not in use with the battery life low and now plugged in the notification bar has the battery icon not indicating that the battery is actually charging and when hovering over the battery icon It says, '0% available
    (plugged in, charging)'

When the power adaptor is removed from the power the battery appears to have no power available and the when plugged back in the power system does not actually recharge.

I have tried installing and re-installing that Microsoft ACPI -Compliant stuff then shutdown and start again but still the same thing.Battery starts charging for few minutes and it stops indicating '0% available (plugged
    in, charging)'

What do you think maybe the issue here with this system?

    Regards

    Florence

  3. Windows 10, HP laptop battery "plugged in, not charging"

After installing Windows 10 on my HP Pavilion g6-2197sa laptop, I have had problems charging the battery. The battery icon reports something like "79% available (plugged in, not charging)."

I can, sometimes, temporarily fix this problem by following these steps:

    1. Shut down
    2. Remove battery
    3. Boot up on AC power
    4. Uninstall the ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver
    5. Shut down
    6. Reinsert battery
    7. Reboot

However, I bought a new battery to see whether the issue lay with my original battery, and it worked fine for a while before it also succumbed to the issue. Now the new battery no longer charges even after repeating the above process. My original battery seems to charge temporarily after I repeat the above process.

I have further noticed that my AC light flashes continuously while plugged in, whether the laptop is on or off, which it never used to do.

Also, note that the battery never charges, now matter how low the available remaining power gets - my problem doesn't appear (to me) to be a feature designed to prolong battery life.

I would really like to fix this problem permanently but am completely stumped. Cheers!
