    We have been facing issue with Teams and Skype Camera.

    Teams and Skype is Not Detecting Built in Camera Although Camera Apps Works fine.

    Settings :

    1.Camera - Privacy - Allow Apps for your camera is turned on.

    2 . Camera - Privacy - Allow Desktop apps to uses camera is turned on

    3. Camera Drives has already been updated. Installed and reinstalled.


    Please advice.

    Settings :

    Hello Rakesh, my name is Farah and I'm an Independent Adviser. I can help you regarding this problem

    If the camera app is working and you can record and test your mice as well, then the only possible reason is that the Teams admin has not given you permissions to enable the Cam and Mice

    You can check your manufacture website to see if there are known issues regarding your cam model and Teams/ Skype, as some cameras are not supported

    Also check if you already have the last version of Teams.

    Thanks, it worked!

    For anyone else having the same problem:
    When activating the aforementioned setting you should restart Skype for Business completely. Mine Skype for Business still did not get listed in the lower list, but the camera is now activated.
